Fast, Safe and Flexible Helicopter Charter to Kansas Speedway
The ISC owned and operated Kansas Speedway has seen its share of NASCAR races throughout the last 17 years. This year the excitement surrounding the racing schedule at the number one location for NASCAR racing throughout the Midwest is expected to be more exciting than ever. Which means there's no better time than right now to purchase your tickets for one of the huge races hosted there, like the MENCS Hollywood Casino 400 scheduled for engine start in mid-October.
Typical Kansas City traffic is a pain at best, but when NASCAR is in town, it becomes infinitely more of a hassle. Imagine thousands of race fans converging on the city from every direction. Plus the added influx of residents on both sides of the state line all trying to find suitable routes to the raceway and the closest parking to the track venue as possible. Sounds chaotic right?
There is a way to avoid all of that mess and it's as simple as making one phone call to make it happen. Book a helicopter charter to Kansas Speedway. Grab a group of your closest friends or fellow race fans and reserve a helicopter shuttle to transport your group to the raceway. From an aerial perspective delivered by a helicopter, you’ll be able to spot the iconic Kansas City skyline in the distance as well as get pretty amazing view of the traffic coming into the area. As the state of Kansas is smack in the middle of the US, the convergence created by traffic coming into the city is certain to resemble a wagon wheel of sorts. Just think, you could have been another spoke in that wheel, but you booked a helicopter charter instead!
Kansas Speedway: a little bit of history
In July of 1999, preferred tickets went on sale. Due to the public’s increased response in the tickets, ISC opted to offer more than the original amount of 32 by adding the option for an additional 36. Officials were anticipating the construction of the raceway to be completed by the following year, unfortunately, things were halted as a result of lawsuits and inclement weather. Final construction was finalized in 2001 and both NASCAR and IndyCar announced that they were scheduling events at the raceway that same year.
Since its inception, the Kansas Speedway has played host to a number of major racing events, some of which are no longer held there like United SportsCar Championship Grand Prix of Kansas, IndyCar Series RoadRunner Turbo Indy 300, and Indy Lights Kansas Lottery 100.
Currently, however, the raceway hosts the following races: the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races the KC Masterpiece 400 and Hollywood Casino 400. The NASCAR Xfinity Series Kansas Lottery 300, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race 37 Kind Days 250 as well as the ARCA Racing Series Kansas ARCA 150.
