Reliable and Fast Helicopter Charters to Martinsville Speedway
Martinsville Speedway is an ISC owned and operated race track situated in Henry County Virginia in the city of Ridgeway. The speedway is visited annually by thousands of race fans looking to experience the raceway itself and the NASCAR sponsored races and events held there. For more than 70 years, NASCAR stock car racing has been hosted at Martinsville Speedway with some of the speedway’s largest events still yet to be held for 2018. Like the First Data 500, plus more. If you have an interest in heading to the raceway for these events, there's no better time than now to purchase your tickets and determine how you will get to the track.
Sure, you can carpool with friends, or even book a seat on a shuttle bus, but those options are overrated. Not only will you have to contend with other rowdy race fans who may not share your love for the same racing team, but they could potentially have an aversion to personal hygiene and their unique odor and/or an elbow may invade your personal space on overcrowded public transport. Which is why you should consider booking an exclusive helicopter charter to Martinsville Speedway. When you reserve charters through FairLifts, you gain access to state of the art helicopters and customization options guaranteed to meet and even exceed your specific race day travel needs.
Martinsville Speedway has long been a home to NASCAR racing
Martinsville Speedway has been a Virginia staple ever since its gates were opened to the public in 1947. The track was one of the first ever in NASCAR history to be paved and has, since its inception 70 plus years ago, consistently had a number of NASCAR races on its event schedule every year.
Known for its unique paper clipped configuration and extending only .526 miles, Martinsville Speedway is the shortest track on the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series circuit. The shape and short length of the raceway means that at Martinsville, race fans are in closer proximity to the action than at any other venue on the circuit, with the cars literally speeding past a mere few hundred yards or so from the grandstands.
Martinsville speedway has been repaved a number of times. The first saw the raceway go from what it was at the time of its origin to asphalt in 1955-56, with the turns being paved over with concrete in the 1970’s which was considered somewhat unprecedented at that particular day and time. The race track was later repaved once again following damage to a car driven by Jeff Gordon in 2004. Although there has been some speculation as to Martinsville Speedway potentially losing a NASCAR event, this year the calendar is packed full of amazing races.
