Sikorsky is an acclaimed US-based helicopter company that has been creating a quiet hype and circulation around their new Defiant X helicopter. On April 7th, a video was released on their Twitter page showing the concept around the Defiant X Helicopter. The video, while created using computer-generated imagery, showed a short clip of their new helicopter landing on a field where army soldiers were hanging on getting ready to take off from the helicopter.
Sikorsky, which is a unit of Lockheed Martin, a famous aerospace company, is vastly interested in creating new and technologically based helicopters that will give the US Army a boost in warfare so that they may neutralize threats with ease. Their main goals are to revolutionize army aviation and be the main supplier and manufacturer of the US Army’s source of helicopters, including black hawks and other famous military aircraft.
The Defiant X was first shown as a piece of concept art on January 25th at a show prompted by Sikorsky, and ever since then has generated vast interest to see what technically advanced helicopter was going to be created. The Defiant X was stated to be the proposed helicopter for the US Army’s ventures into long-range assault aircraft and to revolutionize their aerospace system.
At the first appearance of the Defiant X, Sikorsky had stated that the helicopter would be an innovative and revolutionizing weapon system that would practice agility and extremely fast and be able to fly farther than any other helicopter in the US Army. This helicopter is supposed to be able to replace the advanced warfare helicopter “UH-60”, in which the Defiant X will upgrade on all the features that the helicopter already has.
Army based helicopters such as the Defiant X will not only be used for warfare tactics and military service, they will also be used for services based on transportation of cargo in which the cargo might be too heavy, dedicate, or large to transport on a plane, as well as any charted flights of army personal, as well as any emergency missions in which a helicopter would be the fastest possible alternative. Fair Lifts also provides services for clients who request services such as cargo transportation, chartered flights, and other operations which may need heavy-lift helicopters that will provide the same services as the Defiant X can provide.
