The Bell 429 is one of the most notable players within the luxury helicopter industry, capable of delivering speeds of up to 155 knots and high-end interiors to passengers. However, its latest update aims to make it the only choice for travelers who expect luxury amenities during their flight. With a range of 411 nautical miles, the helicopter now delivers functionality and high comfort to all passengers.
Bell Helicopter Announces Its New Remodel
Bell announced that its executive 429 GlobalRangers Chopper received a makeover at the HAI Heli-Expo. The new luxury helicopter sets the bar for Bell copters from here on out. Vice President of the company, LaShan Bonaparte, explained that the company takes its pledge to deliver high-quality services and products very seriously which is why they have been listening to their customers to create an unmatched experience with their new remodel.

New Upholstery Options
At first glance, the new upholstery options steal the show. It is clear that Bell looked at luxury performance vehicles when choosing new seating upholstery options, but the company had to really put some thought into their options. While the design team openly says they looked at marine and automotive industries for inspiration, they had the added challenge of sourcing a material that is also lightweight and flame-proof since aircraft has specialized requirements. The result was premium leather upholstery with hand-stitching that ensures the seats are attractive and comfortable down to every last seam. Helicopter owners can choose between two color schemes: red and black and beige and gray.

The interior of the 429 is spacious, allowing for multiple configurations and features like a drop-down tray between the seats.

Flooring Updates
Another noticeable difference inside the Bell luxury helicopter is the addition of hardwood flooring. Designers noted that it seemed like a waste to place high-end carpeting in helicopters only to cover it with unattractive plastic sheathing to protect it from stains and dirt. The solution was to toss the carpet altogether and use premium hardwood to create an attractive sheen that can actually be utilized. The new flooring is resistant to scuffs and stains and is made to last for the lifetime of the chopper.
Add-On Configuration Options
In addition to new flooring and seating, the Bell helicopter also features many configurations that buyers can opt for depending on their needs and personal experiences. Bell is aware that their average consumer is used to moving from luxury vehicles such as performance vehicles and yachts, so they wanted to match the level of comfort with their helicopter options. Consumers can now personalize their helicopters with multi-functional add-ons like fold-down tray tables and storage options to place personal items. In addition, USB charging ports are accessible from the
seating area.
