REACH Air is an aerospace-based organization that is dedicated to helping those out who need medical attention as soon as possible by flying to the destination and kicking up the medically wounded using a stretcher. To expand their services and thus make the company more useful and efficient in saving lives, REACH Air has signed a deal with Providence St.Mary Medical Center to be able to land on their premises and deliver the medically injured patient into their headquarters. By signing this deal and having the helicopter land directly at the Providence Medical Center, the helicopter shortens the amount of time it’ll take for the injured patient to get to a hospital and as a result, save more lives in the process.
Randall Castillo, Chief Executive at St. Mary Medical Center shared his enthusiasm about the partnership with REACH Air and told audiences that he believes that this will only further their goal of ensuring that patients in need of immediate medical attention will get the best services possible. On the other hand of the deal, Ronald Taggart who is the program director for REACH Air states that this new deal with the St. Mary Medical Center will help cut out 45 minutes of idling time by having a medical center nearby. Even though this new deal with the St. Mary Medical Center will increase the need for their services, REACH Air will still be working with other medical centers to help medically injured patients who need immediate hospital attention.
In addition, to REACH Air being able to land on the premises of St. Mary Medical Center, it is also said that they will build relationships with the employees and staff working at the medical center to build a foundational trust and relationship with the employees so that they can work better and more efficient in the future.
