The Boeing AH-64E Apache Guardian has been picked for project Land 4503. From 2025, the aircraft is set to substitute the Army’s Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH), which doesn’t come as a shock. As Australian senator and Minister of Defense Linda Reynolds revealed, the Australian army needs the Apache Guardian to make it easier for it to meet its different objectives.
This aircraft features the latest technology, enhanced sensors, self-diagnostic abilities, digital communication suites, and improved landing gear. Advanced avionics will improve the army’s survivability when executing a plethora of missions for the nation’s good. Besides, the Boeing AH-64E Apache boasts better attack capabilities and security. It comes with life support technology and has met all the certification requirements, making it the lowest risk option for the army at the moment.
Minister Reynolds also said that through project Land 4503, the Australian government intends to ensure that various industries in the nation participate in defense capability.
