We’re thrilled to announce the addition of a Bell 206L-3 and a Bell OH-58A+ helicopter, along with supporting nurse trucks, to our network in Alabama. This strategic expansion will significantly enhance our wet spreading and dry spreading services, serving our agricultural application clients in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, Georgia, and Kentucky.
The Bell 206L-3: A Reliable Workhorse for Agricultural Spraying
The Bell 206L-3 is a versatile and reliable helicopter that is ideally suited for agricultural spraying, also known as crop dusting. Its compact size and excellent maneuverability make it ideal for navigating around obstacles and covering uneven terrain. Furthermore, the Bell 206L-3 has a good payload capacity for carrying agricultural sprayers and other equipment.
For wet spreading, the Bell 206L-3 can be equipped with a variety of sprayers for the application of liquid fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides. The helicopter’s precision application capabilities ensure that these treatments are applied evenly and accurately, maximizing their effectiveness.
For dry spreading, the Bell 206L-3 can distribute solid granular materials, such as fertilizers and pesticides, over a large area. This method is particularly useful for soil amendment products and granular pesticides that need to be distributed evenly across the field.
The Bell OH-58A+: A Proven Performer in Agricultural Spraying
The Bell OH-58A+ is another excellent addition to our network. This helicopter is known for its durability and performance, making it a great choice for agricultural spraying. Its compact size allows it to navigate difficult terrain and its payload capacity is well-suited for carrying a variety of agricultural equipment.
Interestingly, this Bell OH-58A+ “Kiowa”, a military helicopter model, was certified for civilian use by Garlick Helicopters, Inc. in 2017, further attesting to its versatility and reliability.
Like the Bell 206L-3, the Bell OH-58A+ can handle both wet and dry spreading applications. Its precision application capabilities ensure that treatments are applied evenly and accurately, whether it’s liquid fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, or solid granular materials.
In addition to these applications, the Bell OH-58A+ can also be used for seeding. This involves the distribution of seeds over a large area, a task that the Bell OH-58A+ can handle with ease thanks to its payload capacity and precision application capabilities.
Enhancing Our Commitment to Aerial Agricultural Services
The addition of the Bell 206L-3 and Bell OH-58A+ helicopters to our network marks a significant step forward in our commitment to providing top-notch aerial agricultural services. With their proven capabilities and versatility, these helicopters will allow us to better serve our clients across the Southeast.
